Quality assurance ensures survivability. We apply this guiding principle in our approach to the future. Regular big successes in independent external quality competitions put our product claims to the test. For example, we have not only achieved the DLG “Prize of the Best in Gold” over 20 times, our Original Göttinger Stracke and our Feldkieker sausages are also geographically protected products.
We take our responsibility towards our customers very seriously and have our claims certified regularly by numerous quality standards.
COMPLETE PROVEN QUALITY
In addition to compliance with recognised standards and within a framework of extensive self-controls, we stipulate that regular extensive microbiological samples must be taken of raw materials, the operation and of the products by independent, audited laboratories.
PROCESSING OVER AN OPERATING AREA EXCEEDING 10,000 SQUARE METRES
Until our customers hold a finished Börner-Eisenacher product in their hands, it passes through a multi-stage production journey. In all of these stages – from purchasing through processing to packaging – we place great emphasis on quality. This starts early on with the raw materials themselves as we purchase our pork from meat-cutting plants within a 250 km radius. In principle to this end our suppliers have a "Quality and Safety” certification.
Before the meat arrives at our production facilities for further processing, at goods-in a further quality control for temperature, colour, odour, freshness quality and PH-value is performed. Microbiological samples are also taken and examined.
If the meat meets all the quality requirements it is prepared for the production of the respective sausage type, which means it is bundled in weighing batches. Then, during processing, the ingredients used for the particular product are mixed and depending on the product the requisite ageing process or further product-specific processing steps are instigated.

|International Featured Standard Since 2003 Börner-Eisenacher has been IFS Food certified. This is an audit that ensures that we are producing a compliant product according to the specifications agreed with the customer and that we are constantly working on improvements.|
|EU Regulation on Organic Farming: Authorisation for the production of organic food We are one of the largest organic meat processors in Germany and have specialised in the production of organic raw sausage products.|
|Protected Geographical Indication We are particularly well-known for the production of the Göttinger Stracke and the Göttinger Feldkieker. We were also closely involved with the acceptance of these two specialities onto the European Union register of geographically protected products.|
